Red Dog is a card game played in most American casinos and online casinos. In the most modern version the dealer would deal two cards face up. The players would then wager on whether or not the third card would rank between the first two. Traditional red Dog however, has a completely different set of Red Dog rules.
In this version, the players would all place equal bets into a pot. Each player then receives five cards and has a chance to bet. Your bet can be a minimum of your original wager or a maximum of the value of the entire pot. The dealer would draw one card from the top of the deck and places it face up on the bottom of the deck. Another card is then dealt face up and placed in front of you. If you have a card that is of the same suit and of a higher value then you would show this card. You would then receive your twice your second bet back. If you do not have a card that is of the same suit and higher, then you would lose the bet. It would then be the next players turn to place a second bet and play.
